From now on, I would like this blog to feature more short, quick reads of the “have-a-quick-look” variety about just a handful of photos. These will be interspersed with the longer, more involved posts I’ve been writing so far.
An evening walk around London a little while ago provided a good place to start – especially while learning, I tend to end up with a low proportion of usable/strong photos (~10%) from a few hours of shooting. These were some of them – after wandering around Brick Lane and Shoreditch, I happened upon Leadenhall Market on my way back home. I’d heard that it was a nice place for a glass of wine of an evening, but it turns out it’s much more beautiful later at night when it’s deserted and lit up with gorgeous, warm lights. Coupled with the interesting geometry, this place makes for a great place to shoot – certainly one to come back to and explore more angles!
